Should i get oblivion after skyrim

Obviously because the game is 10 years old it looks like it, but with mods you can shave off a couple of years which is nice, so if graphics is really that much of an issue for you which is fair enough then this might put you off. To be honest though I forgot about it quite quickly after heavy modding and enjoyed the gameplay.

This biggest thing in graphics that even with modding you can't really improve that much is NPC character looks. It looks quite dated, but the enviroments are somewhat upgradable with mods. Overal though I think Oblivion aged quite well and I can understand easily why people are still praising Oblivion.

You just need the right ENB and Oblivion really pulls off a fantastic high fantasy look, as for Combat, everything boils down to mods, with the onlything being unchangable is the enemy AI.

Ultimately the biggest difference from skyrim is the lack fo shouts and dragons,and a relative lack of tit mods and skimpy outfits.
